About Christy
I have been teaching for just over a year now, and have been given many opportunities. I have been teaching within a College setting, finding the right level of learners that suit my teaching and have gain so much experience in what works for these learners and what doesn't.
I have taught a range of levels from, Level 1 Traineeships to Level 3 Diplomas. This gained me a great deal of experience as it allowed me to see how I would need to change my teaching strategies depending on the level of learner.
I have had a high number of pass rates within my teaching. There has been many proud moments when I see my learners progressing onto University.

I am a young and modern Graphic Designer with a lot of knowledge to give. I gained a lot of my knowledge through industry gaining me the key details needed within Graphic Design that helped me to progress. I thrive in passing on my knowledge to young, college level learners that have a strong passion for the subject.
Throughout my lessons, I work with the Adobe Suite, with the main programmes being Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. As a group or one to one I go through step by step stages of software tutorials, ensuring learners are getting the most out of the programme. I then allow the learners begin to use what they have learnt within their own work, allowing them to become creative with the software and begin to build their own portfolio. Over time the learners will begin to see what each programme is used for and how we can link them in together in order to create branding pieces, such as, logos, business cards, flyers, corporate outcomes and so much more.

I've known Christy a number of years & never known anyone as dedicated to Graphic Design. Her knowledge & skill sets are driven by her passion for the subject and you can clearly see that in the quality of her work. I would highly recommend Christy to anyone looking to either progress in to a career in design or take up certain areas of design as a hobby.
