Emily is an absolutely amazing piano teacher. As her piano colleague, I have seen her teach many times, but also seen her students playing at various concerts. Her playing is at a high level, and what is most important, she is able to transfer these skills to her students with ease. Due to her calm nature, openness and friendliness, she is able to connect with every student. Emily cares a lot about her students and believes that every person can accomplish their goals if they put their heart into it. She is also a great motivator because she always puts her students’ needs first, and adapts her lessons accordingly. She is absolutely amazing with young children but also teaches teenagers and adults. Emily is a brilliant, kind, calm, and hardworking person that has music at the heart of everything she does. I just wish that the world has more teachers like her.
