Methodology

I love the language and people, that's why I am doing this job. I structure my lessons depending on people's needs, although I always try to speak and encourage the student to practice speaking, as I think that's the main goal for everybody. I use my abilities and experience in order to introduce grammatical concepts and progress at a good pace while having a nice time chatting about different topics.
Experience
I am a guy from Salamanca, Spain, where I studied a degree in linguistics and literature (English Philology). I have been living in Bristol for almost four years and I have been teaching Spanish for a while here. I was also working as language teacher before I moved to Bristol, in Spain, so I'm quite experienced.

I got in touch with David on Tutorful - he is my first Spanish tutor and we have been meeting regularly now for a year. David is a wonderful teacher and we've also become very good friends. He is very personable and makes you feel very comfortable in the lessons. I hadn't conversed with anyone is Spanish when I started learning with David and he really helped ease my nerves and I have really gained in confidence. What I really like about the meet ups is that we have real conversations...and we pick up new vocabulary, grammar, tenses and sentence structures this way. It doesn't feel contrived.
David is a really great teacher, he is friendly, patient and has a lovely relaxed and fun style which makes learning easy. I always look forward to my lessons with David and would highly recommend him.
