About Cecilia
Hello everyone! I'm Cecilia, I'm 29 and I live in Bologna. After high school I graduated in Foreign Languages in Cagliari, then I graduated again in language teaching in Bologna. I have always been attracted to foreign languages and teaching them is my great motivation: I have taught Italian to foreigners in Italy and abroad (Ireland and Spain) and I have taught English abroad (Spain) and in Italy, giving private or language lessons. group, face to face and online, especially in the last year due to Covid-19.

My teaching approach is based on a communicative system: although it is more or less important to know notions of grammar, for me it is essential that my students are able above all to express themselves, to understand and be understood in a language other than their own. My lessons are therefore based on communicative purposes: knowing how to ask and give information, being able to explain motivations, feelings, plans for the future, tell an experience, etc. Obviously, depending on the goals that drive my students, the lessons can vary and be more focused (for example, passing a literature question, preparing for a Cambridge exam, etc.).
