About Maria
I come from the beautiful city of Thessaloniki. I have a degree in Special Education and a master's degree in Using Technology in Education. I am passionate about teaching Greek and I always incorporate Greek culture teaching into my lessons, as I am eager for my students to get to know the Greek culture, not just the Greek language. I have been teaching Greek as a foreign language for 20 years now, so I can offer a lot of expertise to my students. I love learning languages (I can speak 4 languages)

I have extended experience in differentiating learning according to individual needs and I use different online platforms/tools to support learning. I have an extensive bank of Greek language resources (covering grammar, syntax, conversational, vocabulary enhancement etc). I always aim at making my lessons fun and interactive for learners and I focus on experiential learning (learning by doing). I prefer teaching on 1:1 basis as it can give me the opportunity to customise lessons.
