About Lola
Hey there! I'm Lola. I am a qualified and experienced Mathematics tutor. I always make it my goal for every tutor session to make my lessons clear, engaging and inspirational. I believe EVERYONE can learn Mathematics when it is broken down in simple concepts, so I focus on simplifying concepts and guiding my students through problems until they truly understand.
My lessons are very interactive and encourage you the student to think, ask questions and build independence. Each lesson is typically 60 minutes, and is designed to be productive and enjoyable.
I work with primary and secondary students, including those preparing for examinations or students simply looking to improve their grades.

I teach mathematics with patience, clarity and genuine enthusiasm (after all mathematics is my absolute favourite subject). I want you to love and understand mathematics as much as I do. My approach is structured but flexible. My first task as a tutor is to identify gaps in understanding, break down concepts into simple, step-by-step explanations and then support by practice problems.
My lessons are typically an hour long and are always structured to keep you engaged while building your confidence in this marvellous subject. I always encourage my students to think out loud, ask as many questions as possible, and get the core of concepts instead of memorising formulas and methods.
I should also add that I am an experienced mathematics tutor with a Bachelor in Mathematics Education. I am also an expert in examination preparation. My goal is, and always will be, to help my students feel comfortable, confident and see the beauty in mathematics.
