Hello, I'm Peter, a dedicated and experienced Mathematics tutor with over 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I am passionate about helping students develop confidence, master mathematical concepts, and achieve their academic goals.

I hold an MSc in Information Technology, a BEng (Honours), and a Level 2 Certificate in Safeguarding and Behaviour Management, ensuring that I provide a professional, supportive, and safe learning environment.

Throughout my career, I have successfully taught students from KS2, KS3, GCSE, and A-Level, helping learners of all abilities improve their understanding and achieve higher grades. I have extensive experience with the Edexcel, AQA, OCR, OCR MEI, and International Edexcel exam boards, allowing me to tailor lessons to each student's syllabus and examination requirements.

My teaching focuses on building a solid understanding of mathematical principles rather than memorising methods. I explain topics clearly, break complex problems into manageable steps, and encourage students to think logically and independently. Every lesson is personalised to suit the student's current level, learning style, and academic goals.

Lessons are available as one-to-one or small group sessions, each lasting 90 minutes and delivered online via Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Students receive weekly homework, detailed feedback, regular progress assessments, and extensive practice with past papers and exam-style questions to build confidence and exam technique.
