About Emma
Outside of my professional role, I maintain an active creative practice as an artist, producing oil paintings inspired by coastal landscapes and environmental themes. My work often incorporates reclaimed materials, particularly plastics collected through organised beach cleans, reflecting my commitment to sustainability and community engagement. I regularly take part in these beach clean initiatives, combining environmental action with creative inspiration. I also have a strong interest in the outdoors and enjoy mountain climbing, which not only challenges me physically but also influences my artistic perspective through direct engagement with natural environments. Together, these interests support both my wellbeing and my creative development.

I offer online tutoring for secondary school students (KS3 - A Level), supporting GCSE and A Level coursework, portfolio development and exam preparation in Art and Photography. Lessons can be delivered one-to-one for personalised support or in small group sessions where students can share ideas and learn collaboratively.
My teaching focuses on developing creative thinking, technical skills and confidence, guiding students through the full artistic process from idea generation and artist research to final outcomes. I provide structured feedback and practical guidance tailored to each student's level and goals.
Alongside exam-focused tutoring, I also offer beginner and refresher art sessions for anyone who would like to explore or return to creative practice. These relaxed sessions focus on building fundamental skills, experimenting with materials and developing personal artistic style in a supportive environment.
