I'm Emily. I pride myself on being friendly and empathetic. I understand that learning can be a daunting and difficult experience and like to make the process as fun and easy as possible by being supportive and encouraging. Lessons are always tailored to the individual. I aim to build a great working relationship where you are in control of your learning and able to enjoy each session. I have experience teaching students from ages 4-18 and even previous experience with adults in both Spanish and English. Lessons typically last for 1 hour but can be extended if the client desires and can cope with longer sessions (more for adults). I have a TESOL qualification from Trinity College London, a 1st class bachelor's degree from Sheffield Hallam University in Languages with TESOL (Spanish) and a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages from University College London. I have experience working with students with SEND/EAL and understand that every individual needs adjustments to enable them to succeed.

Emily tutored my daughter Lily for GCSE Spanish. She was really fantastic, patient, fun, and knowledgeable. She helped Lily achieve a grade 6 after really struggling and failing her mock exams due to teaching at school being very poor and patchy.
