About Alicia

Hi, I’m Alicia! I’m a friendly and passionate qualified Early Childhood Teacher who loves helping children feel confident and successful in their learning.

I recently completed my Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (Birth–8 Years) and currently work as a relief teacher across primary school settings. I have also worked as a School Services Officer (SSO) and OSHC educator throughout my studies, giving me experience supporting children with a wide range of abilities, learning needs and personalities.

I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable, encouraged and supported. I pride myself on building positive relationships with children and creating a relaxed learning environment where they feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes and have a go.

I’m reliable, patient and enthusiastic, and I genuinely enjoy finding ways to make learning engaging and achievable for each individual child.

My tutoring approach is warm, engaging and tailored to each child’s individual learning needs. I focus on building confidence and strong foundational mathematics skills through clear explanations, hands-on activities, visual resources and plenty of encouragement.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes and are adapted to suit each child’s age, ability, learning style and current classroom learning.

I am a qualified Early Childhood Teacher with a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (Birth–8 Years) and currently work as a relief teacher. I also have previous experience as an SSO and OSHC educator, as well as experience providing one-on-one tutoring.

My lessons are designed for children aged kindergarten to year 4, who may need additional support with mathematics, want to strengthen their numeracy skills and confidence, or would benefit from extending their learning beyond the classroom.
