I have 3 years experience in teaching languages (Italian and English) in schools (all levels and ages) and secondary school (11-18 years) in different countries (England, Australia, Honduras, Italy and Spain). I have qualifications for teaching English (CELTA- Cambridge University) and Italian (CTLA-International House London / DITALS II-Università per Stranieri di Siena)

My methodology is a mixture of what I learned in different language teaching courses and in my experience working in different countries. Main word: communication. The student needs to learn all the strategies to understand and express himself in each context. Gaining confidence is essential and mistakes are important steps that the student must do in his journey towards the target language. I think it is important to balance and develop the four main skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. To analyse the grammar (and to do specific exercises) is important only after the meaning comprehension in context.
