About Bobby
I am a qualified English teacher who has taught in schools and privately since 2013, when I graduated from the Open University with a 2:1 BA honours in English Language and Literature with a diploma in creative writing. Since 2016, I have also been working as an editor at a local publishing company. I have also marked GCSE papers for AQA in recent years, so I'm familiar with the exam mark schemes.
My areas of knowledge include both English language and literature, which I have taught up to A Level, and creative writing.

I'm down to earth and hands-on. I like to get people to explore themselves and their own minds. Sometimes I push you, sometimes I like to let you get comfortable in the waters you're already treading before I make you go deeper.
I like to use humour and explore different ways of doing things.

My rate of £30 per hour has been remained the same for the last few years without increasing, and is standard for a GCSE English lesson on a one-to-one basis. Discounts are available if multiple lessons are booked together or for group sessions.
£5 is the maximum cost for me to travel to you (within a sensible radius) and may be much cheaper if you're local to where I'm based.
