About Francine
I have been a teacher for many years and love teaching. I have taught overseas in wonderful places like Yemen, Sudan, Sri Lanka where many children have little or no English. I enjoy seeing the children progress with thier speaking of English. My classes encouage children to take part, ask questions and generally feel at ease. I try and involve my students and make the lessons interesting with subjects they enjoy. I love to hear my students start to read and see the joy on their facees when they actually understadn what they have read. I love teaching children from 5 years as a good grounding produces good students later.

I base my teaching on my experience and what interests the children so that it is child led to a certain extent. Teaching children to read is a very rewarding thing and the joy they get from first reading words to reading a story is great. I use many things for teaching the concept of numbers which can be very chhallenging for some children. I like a one to one approach that tutoring gives me.
