About Courteney
Hi, I’m Courteney!
I’ve been a musician for 20 years. I’m a multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar, piano, bass, and singing, and I’m passionate about songwriting and producing my own music.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Musicianship from a great music school in Bristol, and I’m based in Cheltenham. I love exploring all kinds of music styles, everything from smooth jazz to heavy metal, so there’s always something new and exciting to dive into.
I play with two bands, write my own songs, and also produce tracks.
I offer lessons in:
Electric Guitar
Acoustic Guitar
Bass Guitar
Piano
Vocals
Songwriting
Producing (Logic Pro X)
I teach all ages and levels, whether you’re just starting out or ready to take your skills to the next level, I’m here to help you find your sound and have fun doing it.
Sound like your kind of vibe? Let’s make some music together!

I’m passionate about making music fun, and I work hard to ensure my students receive the right guidance to develop their skills on their chosen instrument. Having grown up surrounded by male musicians, I’m especially keen to encourage girls and women to embrace music confidently—no need to worry about standing out!
