About Tim
I am a former journalist with 30 years' experience in the news industry, now working as a journalism teacher. I teach undergraduate and postgraduate journalism students in practical news writing, shorthand and academic skills. I am also an NCTJ tutor in public affairs, media law, court reporting and essential journalism.

I deliver teaching for total beginners who want to learn Teeline from scratch, or those wanting to increase their speed and pass relevant examinations at 60, 80 or 100wpm. Learning shorthand can seem a daunting task, but I can help you to learn the best techniques to get you to the speed you want to achieve.
