About Stuart
Hello, my name is Stuart. I am currently studying for an MA in Applied Linguistics for TESOL at Northumbria University and hold an LLB (Hons) degree. I am passionate about helping learners develop confidence in English and achieve their personal, academic, or professional goals. Through my experience supporting both children and adults, I have developed a patient, encouraging, and professional teaching style that helps students feel comfortable and motivated to learn.

I am currently studying for an MA in Applied Linguistics for TESOL at Northumbria University and hold an LLB (Hons) degree. My lessons are tailored to the needs of each learner, whether they wish to improve conversational English, grammar, pronunciation, academic writing, or prepare for IELTS examinations.
I use a communicative and learner-centred approach, encouraging students to actively use English through discussion, practical activities, and guided practice. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and include clear explanations, structured exercises, and constructive feedback to help learners progress confidently.
I have experience supporting both children and adults through my volunteering work with Action Tutoring and Action Foundation. Lessons are available for teenagers and adults from beginner to advanced level, either online or in person.
