Methodology

Using diagnostic assessments, I am able to identify key areas for improvement and address those to build a strong foundation to build upon. My ability to clearly explain key mathematical concepts allows the student to improve rapidly and show immediate progress. Personal Statement
A highly enthusiastic and committed teacher, whose focus is to promote education, raise aspirations of young people and maximise their potential. Through the establishment of positive relationships with both students and parents, Suyi is able to instil the confidence and self-belief that students need to enable them to take on challenging learning experiences. With an exceptionally good understanding of Psychology, She is able to use her understanding of behaviour and learning theories to inform her teaching practice ensuring continuous progress and outstanding achievement. o Developing 9-1 GCSE Maths scheme of work
o Organising, delivering and marking mock exams
o Tracking student progress and implementing intervention when necessary
o Planning and delivering differentiated and well thought out 9-1 GCSE and Functional Skills lessons
o Designing and updating teaching resources and making it easily adaptable to meet the needs of SEN students
o Creating examination/revision timetables to ensure all students are receiving sufficient time with their subject teachers during exam time
