About Fernanda
I am a qualified MFL teacher (Modern foreign languages) that loves to share my knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese. I have experience teaching both in primary and secondary settings and already started to help students with private tutoring for the last 3 years.
I’ve been teaching languages in person and online and feel really rewarding to see how my passion for languages pass really quickly to all my students, even the ones who always found learning a new language very difficult.
In my years of teaching I tried to implement the best teaching techniques to help my students to achieve their goals as quickly and easier as possible, always adapting my lessons to my students preferences and needs. I am quite flexible with my schedules and will always try to adapt to my students availability.

The structures of my lessons are for 50 minutes length, but can always adapt it if needed. I always try to cover the 4 basic areas - Reading, writing, listening and speaking in each lesson. I also always start with a retrieval practice task with the vocabulary learnt the previous lesson, as languages is all about practice and repetition.
