About Cicely
Hi, I’m Cicely, a qualified Spanish and French teacher with three years’ experience teaching students aged 5–17, including GCSE and A-level.
I’ve always loved languages and the opportunities they create to connect with different people and cultures. Having studied Spanish at university and lived and taught abroad, I know how rewarding (and sometimes challenging!) learning a language can be.
I want to tutor because I really enjoy helping students grow in confidence and seeing that moment when something finally clicks. I believe lessons should be supportive, engaging and tailored to each individual, whether you’re aiming for a top exam grade, improving your confidence or simply wanting to enjoy learning a language.
My goal is to make every student feel capable, motivated and proud of their progress.

Looking to build confidence in Spanish or French and achieve your goals? I’m a qualified MFL teacher with 3 years’ classroom and private tutoring experience, teaching ages 5–17, including GCSE and A-level.
I provide friendly, personalised lessons tailored to each student, whether you’re preparing for exams, improving your grades, developing speaking skills or starting from scratch. One of my GCSE students improved from a Grade 6 to a Grade 8 through targeted support.
With a First Class degree in Geography and Spanish and a PGDE in MFL, I bring professional teaching expertise alongside a passion for languages and culture. My aim is to make every lesson enjoyable, supportive and effective.
