I am a qualified music teacher with many years' experience of both teaching and being a musician. I have taught both privately and professionally from children to adult, complete beginners to grade 8. Whatever your ability, I can help you improve your performance.

About the lesson

Lessons will be individually tailored to each student’s specific needs both in content and duration. A younger child, for example, may find an hour too long or a more advanced student may require 1 hour 30 + when preparing for graded exams or public performances. I teach complete beginners to grade 8, all ages and abilities catered for. I am also conductor and pianist for my own choir and have a wealth of performance experience to help you attain your goals.

Perfect! Being assertive and understanding I’m very impressed with the first few lessons and quite optimistic Ruth can get me to a better place playing the piano
