About Amy
I love my job and being able to now offer teaching sessions that are 1:1 is a real privilege. Very often, children simply need that extra bit of personalised time in order to secure their understanding and make progress. Providing a nurturing relationship to ensure your child's confidence grows as well as their brain! I'm experienced and passionate about working with SEND children. I have a child of my own with SEND and also have ADHD myself. I have experience working with children with autism, global delay, speech and language difficulties, dyslexia, SEMH, and ADHD.

First Class degree: BA (Hons) Primary Education with QTS 9 years teaching 6 years as a Class Teacher It is vital that children benefitting from 1:1 sessions have learning plans and sessions that are tailored to them and their needs. Lessons suitable for children in KS1 and KS2, identifying areas of need to close gaps to ensure progress is made. This includes English, reading, phonics, maths, geography, history and science. Lessons are charged at 1 hour long however, additional tasks may be given to complete outside of the sessions ready for the next. SEND parents are welcome to book longer sessions to account for regulation breaks/activities. These will be charged at the hourly rate but this does not mean your child will be expected to sit and solidly learn and be attentive for the entire session.
