About Ernestina
I’m a qualified primary school teacher based in East London, with experience across KS2 and a specialism in SEND inclusion. I also teach Italian as a native speaker, making lessons feel natural and conversational. Whether you’re a young learner building confidence or an adult picking up a new language, I bring warmth, structure, and genuine passion to every session.

I am a qualified primary school teacher with a PGCE, QTS and a BA in Art History, bringing both academic knowledge and classroom expertise to every lesson. My first language is Italian, and I also have a working knowledge of French.
I specialise in teaching Italian to learners of all ages and levels, whether you are a complete beginner or looking to build confidence and fluency. I also offer primary school support for children who need a little extra help, as well as for adults who would like to revisit core skills.
My approach is built around gradual release: I guide learners step by step, modelling new concepts clearly before supporting them to practise independently, so that confidence and fluency develop naturally over time. Lessons are fully tailored to the individual, including in length and pace, so we work at whatever rhythm suits you best.
