About Sidra
Teaching has been part of my life for over eight years, starting in early years settings and growing into a full primary teaching career. I became a teacher because I love watching a child's confidence shift the moment something finally clicks for them, whether that's cracking a phonics sound or finally understanding fractions. As a parent of two young children myself, I understand how much patience and encouragement matters, both in the classroom and at home. I bring that same care to every lesson.

I'm a fully qualified primary school teacher with an MA in Education and over eight years of experience across early years and primary settings. I specialise in phonics, reading, and maths from Key Stage 1 through to Key Stage 2, including SATs preparation. My approach is built on identifying exactly where a child is stuck and closing that gap through targeted, encouraging practice rather than generic worksheets. Lessons typically run 45 to 60 minutes and are tailored to each child's confidence and pace.
