About Jennifer
I am a teacher with many years experience of working with children. I completed a Physical Education degree as I wanted to become a secondary school sports teacher but after taking a job as a teaching assistant supporting a child with special educational needs in a primary school, I knew that this was the career for me. I believe to enthuse and create a want to learn is the greatest gift I can give a child so after working as an assistant for 3 years, I qualified as a teacher to make a difference. I still want to support children with their learning away from the classroom as a tutor.

I strive to make all subject lessons as fun and captivating as possible to generate high levels of engagement and good, quality work. I ensure all lessons and activities are accessible to all by providing additional support in order to bridge gaps in knowledge or provide extra challenges for children to achieve greater than the expected standard.
Although I am a kind teacher who displays a good sense of humour, I also have a high expectation of children's behaviour and will ensure a calm and safe working environment.
