About Hannah
Hello, I’m Hannah, a qualified primary school teacher (QTS) with over five years of experience teaching across Key Stage 2.
I am the founder of The Confident Learner Tuition, where I provide calm, structured Maths and English support for children in Years 3–6. My approach focuses on building confidence alongside strong academic skills, particularly for children who may be capable but are doubting themselves.
I have taught across Years 3–6, including Upper KS2, and have a strong understanding of the curriculum and how to break learning down in a clear, supportive way. I also have experience supporting children as they prepare for more formal assessments, helping them build the skills, confidence and exam approach needed without unnecessary pressure.
I have worked with a wide range of learners, including those with additional needs, and always adapt my teaching to suit each child.
I hold an enhanced DBS on the update service and create a safe, supportive environment where children feel comfortable to learn and make progress.
My goal is to help every child feel more confident, capable and ready to succeed.

My lessons are calm, structured and tailored to each child’s needs. I focus on building confidence alongside strong academic skills, helping children feel more secure in their learning.
Sessions are designed to be supportive and low-pressure, while still focused and purposeful. I use clear explanations, modelling and guided practice to help children understand concepts in both Maths and English.
I begin with an initial assessment to identify strengths and any gaps. From there, I create a personalised plan to support steady progress.
I provide regular updates to parents, so you can clearly see how your child is developing over time.
