About Viktor
I have extensive experience teaching both the UK curriculum and the IB curriculum, as well as ESL learners. Over the past seven years of online teaching, I have worked with a wide range of resources and learning materials, allowing me to select the most effective approach for each student.
My teaching is based on creating a positive relationship with my students. I take an interest in their hobbies, recognise their individual learning styles, and adapt lessons to help them learn effectively and confidently.
At the same time, I maintain high expectations regarding focus and effort. I expect students to stay engaged during lessons and, where homework is necessary, to complete it carefully and to the best of their ability. I believe that a combination of a positive learning environment, consistent effort, and clear goals is the key to long-term success.

I am a British-qualified Primary Teacher (PGCE, QTS) of Czech origin with 15 years of teaching experience. As someone who learnt English as a second language, I understand what it takes to master a language and the common difficulties that ESL learners face on their journey to fluency.
For the past seven years, I have worked exclusively as an online teacher. This has given me extensive experience in online teaching and a strong understanding of the resources, materials, and approaches that are most effective in helping students make progress and stay engaged.
My lessons are based on building a positive and supportive relationship with each student, as I believe that the best learning takes place when students feel comfortable, confident, and motivated. I offer an individual approach to every learner and adapt lessons to their goals, interests, and learning style.
I can support students in two main areas. Firstly, as a qualified Primary Teacher, I can help children studying in the UK, including preparation for 7+ and 11+ entrance examinations, as well as all aspects of primary-level English. I have worked with many students from international and independent schools and understand the expectations of these programmes.
Secondly, I specialise in teaching ESL learners at all levels. I have extensive experience preparing students for Cambridge English exams, Aptis, IELTS, and TOEFL, while also helping them develop the confidence and language skills needed for success at school and in everyday communication.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although shorter lessons can be arranged for younger learners. My aim is always to help students become confident, independent users of English while making lessons engaging, structured, and enjoyable.
