About Alexandra
About Me
I’m a qualified primary teacher with over 10 years of experience supporting children to learn, grow and thrive. I’m also a mum of two young children, so I understand how important it is for children to feel happy, supported and confident in their learning.
Teaching is something I’m genuinely passionate about. I love helping children break down areas they find difficult, work through things step by step and have those “aha!” moments when something finally clicks.
For me, tutoring isn’t just about helping a child improve academically. It’s about helping them develop the confidence to believe in themselves and their abilities. Sometimes a child just needs someone to explain something in a different way, give them a little encouragement or help them see that they are capable.
My goal is to create a calm, friendly and supportive environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and having a go. I want every child I work with to feel proud of their progress and become a more confident version of themselves.
I offer online tuition for KS1 and KS2 children in maths, phonics, reading and writing, including support for children who are home educated.
I also offer in-person tuition in Sale, Trafford, where I can provide personalised support tailored to your child’s individual needs.
Whether your child needs help building confidence, support with a particular area of learning, or simply someone to explain things in a different way, I’m here to help.
I look forward to getting to know your child and helping them discover what they can achieve!

Qualified Primary Teacher | 10+ Years' Experience | Online Tuition for KS1 & KS2
Hello! I’m a qualified primary teacher with over 10 years of experience supporting children to learn, grow and thrive.
I offer friendly, engaging online tuition for primary-aged children, supporting both children who attend school and those who are home educated.
I can help with:
Phonics & Reading – developing confidence, fluency and comprehension
✏️ Writing & Creative Writing – building vocabulary, sentence structure, spelling and confidence
Maths – strengthening understanding, filling gaps and developing problem-solving skills
General Primary Support – helping children stay on track and feel more confident in their learning
My lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive and tailored to each child. I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable, encouraged and able to make mistakes without fear.
For home-educated children, I also offer small-group online sessions, providing the opportunity to experience live teaching and interact with other learners, while keeping groups small with a maximum of 8 pupils.
Whether your child needs a little extra confidence, support with a particular area, or regular structured teaching alongside their home education, I’m happy to help.
