About Mariam
Hello! My name is Mariam, and I am a qualified Quran, Arabic, and Islamic Studies teacher from Egypt.
I graduated from Al-Azhar University, Faculty of Islamic Studies, and I hold an Educational Diploma. I have an Ijazah in Quran recitation according to Hafs ‘an Asim, as well as Ijazahs in Tuhfat Al-Atfal and Al-Jazariyyah.
I have 8 years of experience teaching online, including 4 years teaching non-Arabic speakers, and I have also worked for a year in an international school in Saudi Arabia, teaching Islamic Studies.
I am passionate about helping my students learn in a simple, enjoyable, and meaningful way. I am patient, supportive, and always try to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and making progress.
For me, teaching is not only about completing a lesson; it is about helping students build real knowledge, confidence, and a lasting connection with the Quran and Arabic language.

My lessons are designed to be engaging, interactive, and personalized to meet each student’s individual needs and learning level.
I teach Quran, Arabic, and Islamic Studies to children and adults, including non-Arabic speakers. I have 8 years of online teaching experience, including 4 years of experience teaching non-Arabic speakers in English, as well as experience teaching Islamic Studies in an international school in Saudi Arabia.
As a Quran teacher with an Ijazah in Hafs ‘an Asim, I focus on correct pronunciation, Tajweed, memorization, revision, and understanding the meaning of the Quran. I also help students build a strong and lasting relationship with the Quran.
For Arabic learners, I provide lessons in reading, writing, pronunciation, vocabulary, conversation, and grammar according to the student’s level and goals.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and student-centered. I use interactive activities, visual materials, repetition, and practical exercises to make lessons enjoyable and effective.
