About Ms S Harper
I have been teaching mathematics in secondary schools for 3 years and before qualifying as a teacher I worked as a part-time tutor for 3 years.
In my time as a teacher I have taught classes with students of a range of abilities and always push students to achieve the best that they can. The students that I have taught have achieved A and A* grades at GCSE (some students exceeded their targets) and I have also taught students who needed help achieving C grades.

I am a qualified maths teacher working in a secondary school in Surrey. I am passionate about mathematics and enjoy helping young people achieve their goals with maths.
My lessons always start with a recap quiz to make sure that the student is mastering each topic and we are building on previous learning each lesson. I have a wide range of resources that I use with different students depending on ability and target grades but all lessons will involve going through some exam questions (particularly for the new style GCSE) to not only improve mathematical understanding but to develop confidence in exam techniques.
I always offer a free 30 minute session to new students so that we can get to know each other and I can plan resources for future lessons based on your strengths and areas for improvement.
