About Jasmine
I have been teaching for 2 years now, starting my PGCE immediately after I completed my Biomedical Science degree. I have taught all year groups at Secondary school and have done a little private tutoring for KS2 pupils. I have shown that I am capable of teaching all ability students throughout my career.

I am a 23 year old, fully qualified, full time Science teacher. I have a 1st class honours degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Portsmouth and I attended a Grammar school in Devon for my Secondary education. I teach all 3 Science disciplines to ages 11-16, although I am willing to tutor younger pupils too.
As a teacher, I am fun and always like to make my lessons as engaging and as exciting as possible. I think outside the box for explanations and have a lot of energy in the classroom to motivate all of my students. I am also very approachable and easy to talk to so that any questions students have can be asked without worrying they are silly. I will bring all of this into my tutoring sessions to make sure that they are as effective as possible.
Initially, I will need to find out what exam board a student is studying for and what topics they think that they need additional help with. I will also ask what they think is the best way that they learn, so that I can tailor the tutoring sessions to them.
Every student is different to another, so my way of tutoring them will differ to other students. It is up to each student and their parent/guardian as to what I tutor and how is best to go about it.
