About Chris
Hello! My name is Chris, and I'm looking forward to helping you on your journey with maths and physics.
My passion for maths and physics comes from a love of patterns and rules, and a desire to understand the mechanics of the world . I enjoy teaching my pupils about these things using that same enthusiasm, and I hope I can pass on and build up a similar enthusiasm for the subject. My teaching experience has shown me that these subjects can be daunting for some people. I would love to have the opportunity to help break that down and give my pupils increased confidence and skill for their current and future work.

I am a fully qualified secondary maths teacher in Scotland and am happy to tutor Scottish pupils in secondary school up to Higher level maths and National 5 physics, and college students studying Craft Maths or Tech Maths.
I will work closely with my students and figure out what works best for them, identify their preferred learning style, and find what subject areas need extra reinforcement. In doing so, I will create a good working relationship with my students, building confidence and trust, allowing for more effective learning and teaching.

Perfect! Chris helped me pass my level 6 maths and I couldn’t have done so without him, he’s an excellent tutor and always takes his time when explaining stuff to you and makes sure that you understand it. He also gives logical methods to finding solutions which make them much easier to comprehend. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to expand their understanding of mathematics.
