About Isabel
I am currently the Head of Modern Foreign Languages at a mainstream school in London, as well as a native Spanish teacher and SEN specialist. I hold a Master’s degree in Special Education with a focus on language disorders, alongside a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from the University of Barcelona. In addition, I have completed specialist training in teaching Spanish to children and young people with Special Educational Needs.
With more than 20 years of teaching experience, I have worked across a wide range of educational settings, including IB, GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level programmes, successfully preparing students for AQA, Edexcel and Cambridge examinations. I also have extensive experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language to adult learners, from complete beginners to advanced levels. My lessons are engaging, supportive and carefully tailored to each student’s individual needs, helping learners build confidence, achieve academic success and develop genuine fluency in Spanish.
