About Kane
I graduated from Cambridge in 2017, having studied Natural Sciences. From there, I completed my teaching qualification and have gained a wealth of experience across all age groups and subjects, teaching Biology, Chemistry and Environmental Sciences A-level. I have also tutored pupils on a number of occasions, prepping them on how to take exams, how to revise effectively and how to nail Oxbridge interviews. I have even taught other teachers how to teach! I have a wide knowledge of the subjects I tutor, as well a solid understanding of the exam process and how to adapt the lesson to best suit the tutee.

My approach involves a variety of styles, depending on the needs of the learner, developed over 4 years of classroom teaching and 1:1 tutoring at GCSE and A-level face-to-face and virtually. These may include interactive discussions, thought-provoking exercises, modelled explanations, exam-style questions and exam technique, bespoke to the qualification at hand. Lessons are typically an hour but can be flexible, depending on the pupils needs or tasks involved. With experience across KS3-5 (11-18 years), I am able to tutor chemistry all ages, physics to GCSE and also interview/university application preparation.
