About Erin
I am a qualified English and Media high school teacher (ages 11-18), with a keen interest in imparting a love of reading and English Language.
I am also a PhD candidate in my final year, with a specialisation in film and advertising. I am a published academic researcher and have undertaken consultancy projects for global video advertising firm Unruly Media.

I believe the best way to teach English is to impart a love of reading and self-expression. I aim to make every lesson interesting and engaging; I find ways to relate texts to students' own lives, or use relevant video and images to help embed a deeper understanding of English language and literature. I approach English and Media with the utmost enthusiasm, which has often made even the most reluctant readers and writers warm to the subjects!
