About Sarah
My name is Sarah, and I am a qualified teacher with a First Class Honours degree in Education. I have been teaching for over 10 years and have extensive experience teaching both Maths and English from primary level through to GCSE. I am passionate about helping every student reach their individual goals and fulfil their full potential, whether that means building confidence, closing gaps in learning, or achieving their target exam results. I believe that every learner is unique, so I create engaging, supportive lessons that are tailored to each student's needs, enabling them to make progress at their own pace and enjoy learning along the way, as well as meeting goals for examinations.

As a qualified teacher with a strong understanding of effective teaching and learning, I offer personalised maths tuition for students from primary school age (6+) through to GCSE level. Lessons are carefully planned and tailored to each student's individual learning needs, helping to build confidence, develop understanding, and achieve their personal goals. I have experience supporting students with additional learning needs and adapt my teaching approach to suit a wide range of learning styles. I also have experience working with students who experience maths anxiety, creating a calm, supportive environment where they can build confidence, overcome challenges, and develop a positive attitude towards mathematics. One-to-one lessons are available both in person and online, with small group sessions also available online.
