About Chiara
I am a teacher of English, Italian and freelance translator. I have a master's degree in bilingual translation from the University of Westminster and a certificate as a Teacher Trainer from the Italian Cultural Institute in London. I have been teaching Italian and English for over ten years and I am very familiar with new technologies and their application in language teaching. My lessons are very communicative and focused on oral skills (speaking and listening), with space also for other skills and grammar, which I know very thoroughly both for English and for Italian, thanks to the studies done both in Italy and England.

I use a communicative and student-centered method, mainly focused on the development of oral skills (speaking and listening), but which also leaves ample space for writing, reading and grammar skills, which I can explain in an extremely clear and simple way through the method. inductive. I always plan my lessons in advance, use both authentic materials (videos, articles, songs, literature, etc.) and textbooks, and am particularly adept at creating original and tailored materials for my students. During my lessons I involve students a lot, I only use the target teaching language and I want to create a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. I am also a teacher trainer so I know the teaching methodology very well. My lessons thus enriched by the use of very specific communication techniques and playful activities.
