About Terry

My background is in healthcare including mental health, through this I graduated into teaching others how to practice and from this my love of teaching grew. I am a student of languages myself and something I struggled with was that all my lessons seemed to work off the same platform as if they expected every student to learn the same why. This encouraged me to get my qualification to teach English, as being a student myself made me realise how important individualised lesson planning really is. Teaching has fast become my passion and it is important to me that every student I have feels supported and learns something new each time we meet.

About the lesson

Understanding your motivation for learning will help me to tailor each lesson to help you achieve your desired goals. I can offer basic language skills, advanced language skills, English for business purposes, travel purposes, residential purposes and can offer lessons to all ages and abilities. Each lesson will move at your pace and aim to push you a little more each time. Together we’ll discover how you learn best and I will offer support and guidance to help you get the most out of each lesson.
