About Genista
Young or Adult people with behavioural, mental health, learning difficulties or disadvantage often experience entrenched feelings of low self-esteem, low self-worth, anxiety, fears and disempowerment. Turning internal thoughts around are crucial to developing self confidence. My art teaching involves many diverse media; clay, glass painting, mosaic, mosaic, wax batik and wall murals – this becomes a vital way for a group to bond and take ownership upon a work for display as permanent piece for exhibition.

The Mentoring skills I use through Art becomes a medium toward integrating educational National Curriculum aims and objectives for learning. I have internal and external assessor standardisation qualifications and connection within the whole academy courses ethos and term time themes.
