About Rollo
Hi! I’m a passionate and friendly PE teacher and sports coach with experience working across primary and secondary schools. I specialise in PE, sport, and early secondary Maths, and I hold coaching qualifications in football, gymnastics, and soon cricket.
I want to teach because I genuinely believe in the power of movement and learning to help young people grow—not just in knowledge, but in confidence, teamwork, and self-belief. I love finding fun and engaging ways to help students learn and feel proud of their progress. Whether it’s improving your Maths skills or boosting your PE knowledge, I’m here to support you every step of the way!

My tutoring approach is active, supportive, and student-centred. I tailor sessions to each learner’s needs, combining clear explanations with interactive tasks to build both confidence and understanding.
Teaching methodology: I use a mix of visual aids, active recall, and practical examples—especially for PE and Maths—to make concepts easier to grasp. I also encourage questioning and reflection to develop independent thinking.
Lesson length: Typically, lessons last 60 minutes, but this can be adapted based on age or focus area.
Experience/qualifications: I'm a qualified PE teacher with a 1st class degree in PE, Sport & Youth Development. I hold Level 1 coaching awards in football and gymnastics, with cricket pending. I also have classroom experience delivering KS2 Maths.
Who it's for: My tutoring supports primary to secondary learners (ages 8–16) in Maths and PE (including GCSE-level theory). Ideal for those needing extra support, confidence, or active, engaging revision strategies.
