About Daisy
Hi, I'm Daisy and I believe in the power of learning to help you reach your goals. Sometimes, the school system doesn't work for every young person, and I want to be able to provide that bit of extra support to those who need it. I'm a qualified teacher who completed a PGDE on the Teach First training programme. My specialist subject is Geography (which I love), but I have experience delivering a range of different subjects to 11-16 year olds. I've gone on to do a few other things since qualifying as a teacher, including working for a top global consulting firm and an education charity.

I am a qualified teacher who graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2019 with a Master's degree in Geography. I went on to complete the Teach First training programme, meaning I hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the University of Manchester. My lessons are: - fun and interactive - tailored to what you want to focus on - 60 minutes long - for Key Stages 3 - 5 (y7-11) - can focus on a subject of your choice - my specialism is Geography but ask me about other subjects too! Alongside Geography I have experience teaching English, history, religious studies, resilience and PSHE. I spent time delivering online lessons for students over Covid lockdowns, so I know how to keep things engaging, even over a computer.
