My name is Rebecca and I am a qualified TEFL English Teacher from Liverpool. I give lessons to anyone who wants to improve their conversation, reading, writing and listening skills or exam preparation.
I try to make my lessons as interesting as possible for the student so I can adapt to my students needs and interests. My classes are very conversation focused as this is generally what students appreciate from their time with me.
I am a very friendly, relaxed and approachable person who enjoys helping students to achieve their language goals.
I have been giving lessons for over four years. I have taught countless students during this time in academies and as a private tutor. I have helped my students achieve their goals in English. Some wanted to pass exams for University, others for school. However, most have wanted to feel confident speaking and learn new expressions, vocabulary and grammar.

For the last two years I have been working for a thriving language school in the centre of Seville where I taught a variety of levels throughout two academic years.
(Levels A2 – C1). As well as doing academic year long courses, I additionally prepared students in exam intensive courses for Cambridge PET and FCE.
My lessons consisted of multi-media resources including powerpoint presentations with grammar explanations, coursebook activities, interactive games, conversation, listening tasks and vocabulary tests.
As I was teaching intensive exam preparation classes, part of my role was to give students practice exam papers every week and to mark them according to the Cambridge exam marking scheme. I also did exam simulation style classes which included all parts of the Cambridge exam.

04/2013– 09/2013. Just Languages Language’s Academy. Seville. Internship
This was a great experience for me as it gave me the opportunity to put the skills that I had acquired during my TEFL Course into practice. Additionally, it greatly enhanced my communication and listening skills as the classes were private individual based classes.

08/2011 Self-employed Private Tutor. London
During this time, I had a handful of English language students from all over Europe that I taught in my spare time. These students ranged in ability and in motive. Some only required conversation classes however most of them wanted to focus solely on grammar and vocabulary. I therefore had the chance to improve all aspects of my teaching.

I used to be one of Rebecca's students when she taught in my old academy. She's funny and has a great sense of humor but she's also very professional and explains everything very well and clear. The lessons were fun and interesting too and I learnt a lot. I highly recommend her as a teacher!
Rebecca is a fantastic teacher! She is very pedagogical, has great and original teaching materials, and always tries to engage her students in an interesting/fun way. She has a lot of experience, knows what she's doing, loves teaching and is very good at making her students progress quickly. I would highly recommend her to anyone!
