About Helen
Having always wanted to write and direct myself, spent many years procrastinating before studying as a mature student. I graduated with a 1st Class BA Hons in film and TV production. Was lucky enough that my graduate short film was a success on the film festival circuit. Ever since, I have continued to write and direct independent film and understand all too well the struggles aspiring filmmakers and writers face. Would hope that through my own experience and knowledge that I could help others achieve their aspirations.

I am willing and able to adapt lessons/learning for individual needs. A passionate filmmaker myself, I have experience working as a freelancer and being able to develop ideas with budget limitations etc. Focus on creativity and methods to help and individual through the development process. Film studies is integral to learning the craft of writing and directing. I incorporate lessons on film history and film genre in order to help learners develop skills and style.
