Methodology

Duration : 3 hour - Price : £40.00 - Place : Oldham (OL8 1RT)I am Tamoor Shafique and I am an Electrical Engineer by qualification. I am based in Oldham and currently teaching BTEC Electrical and Electronics at a local college. I am also teaching BENG students at a further Education college and my expertise are around Math, Physics, Electrical and Electronic subjects.
I would like to teach Math to learners in GCSE, A Level, diploma, BTEC, Pearson modules etc. I can offer teaching Math from level 1 up to level 7. This includes algebra, calculus, geometry, trigonometry and boolean algebra.
My technique is simple I like to take an assessment prior to start teaching based on the level of student to assess what are the strengths and weaknesses of a student. Once I have done this I book 3 lessons initially which are structure 1 hour each and they are divided in four quarters, first quarter an assessment assessing previous lecture to assess what student learnt in previous lecture. second quarter is based on new topic and lecturing. third quarter is based on a student activity. fourth lesson is based on student peer reviewing his own work with a solved exercise and in this quarter he is open to asking further questions. After 3 lessons a discussion with student decided he or she wants to continue or not if yes remaining lessons are more than two hours each.
My methodoly is very easy and basic. assess student understanding with initial assessment. lecture with some objectives and assess in the end if the objectives have been met. finally activities and assessments help student in knowing how the knowledge can be applied to solve practical problems
