About Lindsay
Before working in finance, I served in the Canadian Navy as a Naval Warfare Officer where I developed mathematical models for naval strategy and tactics. What this means for you is that I'm used to taking what seem at face value to be abstract mathematical concepts and applying them to real world scenarios.
I am eager to spread my passion for mathematics to other students, especially those who struggle with the intuitive understanding of what certain concepts mean, how they work, and how they can be used.

Hi, my name is Lindsay and I am a quantitative finance professional based in Montreal. I graduated from the University of Toronto with an honours degree in Economics & Mathematics and I use calculus and linear algebra almost everyday in my day job. I've found that the best way to understand concepts is to see how they can be applied to the real world, so if you have difficulty understanding how derivatives or eigenvalues can help you in the real world, then I'm the tutor for you!
I tutor differential and integral calculus as well as linear algebra and statistics.

He is patient and can simplify concepts to make it easily digestible! He understands math concepts very well and is very proficient in what he does.
Lindsay is an incredible tutor who really knows what he's talking about.. unlike so many other tutors I've seen. i could not for the life of me understand how to derive a function in Calc1 no matter how many prof office hours i went to and math tutorials I attended, but now I finally understand them and was able to actually PASS my calculus final. 10/10 tutor!!!
