About Ester
I am a licensed practical nurse, but give Spanish lessons to children as a hobby or when parents contact me. I was a summer camp instructor and that’s how I met most parents who later called me for babysitting and eventually English or Spanish lessons. I have only had the chance to teach individually and I actually think it’s the best way to learn. I can give all of my time and energy on that one person. I was born in Guatemala, but grew up in Quebec city so I speak French and English fluenty and of course, Spanish! I helped my Spanish teacher during classes in Cegep level courses. So kids aren’t the only ones I have taught. I will be very happy to help in any way I can.

Usually, I go with what’s best for the child/student I am helping. Drawings, tricks that may be related to French/English, games, quizzes, a lot of conversation (translated if needed) and skits. I make it fun for them to learn! After all, I adapt to their needs and level. I am good to travel in Quebec City so feel free to contact me if you need ayuda (help).
