About Harley

I'm a mid-twenties Yorkshire girl trying to find her feet in this ever-changing world. I specialise in Spanish and History, but am also a fluent English speaker. I am passionate about making learning accessible for all, and as such have chosen to become a tutor to play my part in making this possible. Outside of work, I am a lover of all things vintage - fashion, music, cars, excluding vintage values! I play double bass, enjoy photography and travelling. I am family-oriented and love my pets. I am quirky and passionate about self-expression!

About the lesson

I believe that with the right amount of support and challenge, you can achieve anything you put your mind to! Therefore, I am willing to adapt myself to suit your needs and work at your pace - no matter of your age, or level of study.

I offer 30 to 60 minute sessions to support my learners with English, History and Spanish. All of which can be taught from primary to degree level!

I studied History and Spanish at university and specialised in both subjects (I predominantly studied the Cold War era of history, however have knowledge of GCSE curriculum and further afield). I am currently exploring my options to complete a MLitt in Viking Studies too! I taught in an SEMH specialist school for three years prior to completing my PGCE, where I have worked with pupils from around the world and developed techniques to support them in their learning.
