About Elia
I am a dedicated and passionate French tutor with 13 years of experience guiding students of all levels towards language mastery. Throughout my teaching journey, I have successfully worked with approximately 150–200 students, helping them build strong foundations in French while also advancing their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
My teaching approach centres on personalised learning. I believe that every student learns differently, so I design lessons that are tailored to individual goals, pace, and learning styles. Whether a student is a complete beginner, preparing for exams, or aiming to achieve fluency, I create structured yet flexible lesson plans that ensure consistent progress and confidence.
I incorporate a variety of engaging techniques such as interactive conversations, real-life scenarios, role-playing, and multimedia resources to make learning both effective and enjoyable. I also place a strong emphasis on pronunciation, grammar accuracy, and cultural understanding, allowing students to use the language naturally in real-world contexts.
Known for my patience, adaptability, and clear communication, I strive to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and growing from them. My goal is not only to teach French but also to inspire confidence and a genuine love for the language in every learner I work with.

My teaching approach for French focuses on developing both understanding and confidence in students. I use real-life examples and case studies to make lessons practical and relatable. This helps students apply what they learn in real-world situations.
Flexibility is an important part of my teaching. I design lessons based on each student’s individual needs, strengths, and goals. This ensures that students can learn comfortably and progress steadily.
I believe in collaboration and encourage students to take an active role in their learning. Through discussions, exercises, and interactive tasks, students improve their communication skills. I also follow a compassionate approach, creating a supportive and motivating learning environment.
In addition to French, I also teach related areas such as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, and listening skills. I also include cultural learning to help students understand the language in a broader and more meaningful way.
