Each student is different, and I like to understand the goals each students wants to achieve. I believe that the best learning happens through finding music that makes my students want to practice and sing. I have taken a special vocal pedagogy course during my masters, teaching healthy singing practices. Healthy and fun singing is always my first priority.
I am a singer trained in the Opera, Song and Jazz styles currently completing my PhD at the Royal College of Music in London, UK. Originally from Canada, I offer vocal lessons for students of all ages. I have a decade of teaching experience emphasizing healthy singing in a fun and approachable style. I have past experience of preparing students for the ABRSM vocal exams.
