About Yoonseo
Hi! I'm a RCM 10 violinist with over 10 years of experience.
Over the course of my musical career, I have performed with various youth ensembles. Most recently, I was awarded an invitation to play alongside the Oakville Symphony.
I am also currently the concertmaster of a local string ensemble, performing at the Golden Horseshoe Nationals, as well as other soloist and orchestral competitions, including the New York International Music Festival at Carnegie Hall.

Teaching is my passion! I have privately taught students of all ages for over three years in-person and online settings. My students have started at various levels, and have had different goals from RCM certifications to simply playing for fun.
My lesson structures are flexible for this reason, as I have found that progress happens best when acknowledging the student's individual goals and commitment. Music, like many other things, comes with passion and practice.
That said, a general lesson will typically consist of:
- Technical work
- Music theory
- Solo pieces following the RCM/Suzuki syllabus or of your choice.

Amy was a great teacher, our lessons that had a hybridization between theory and technical/playing skills because that’s what I wanted.
