About Ruby
I have been a tutor since I was in prep school, and have continued to write and edit for others as well as myself. I have taught all ages and am comfortable with groups or individuals and all levels of education. I am currently writing a book as well as taking college-level English and LIterature classes and achieving A's and a nearly 4.0 GPA. I also am experienced in Psychology, Medical Sciences, and History.

I teach with compassion and use positive reinforcement. A student cannot learn when they are nervous or stressed, so I try to use humor and project a feeling of growth and care. I tailor my lessons to each student and their needs as well as use plenty of praise and make sure they know how much it means to me when they apply themselves. Learning should be fun, so I use games, check in with my students, never get angry, and try to keep things fresh.
